Every child and family dynamic is different. And there is no right or wrong form of childcare! That being said, having a qualified nanny is a true luxury and an asset to your family. Imagine your children getting dedicated one-on-one attention and nurturing care in your own home! For working parents, a nanny can be a saving grace. She will take care of child-related tasks like laundry, room-tidying, meal prepping, and more! It is a true relief to know that your child is being lovingly cared for in the comfort of your own home.
Your nanny can also help with any transportation your child may need to things like school and sports. It’s also common for nannies to take children to child-related activities like library story time, parks, play museums, and more!

Finding the nanny that fits best with your family is a great feeling! Once you hire your nanny, you need to decide on a few logistical things - like payment method and a contract (recommended). I am not involved in nanny payroll, however, I can provide you with recommendations on how to pay your nanny legally. If you decide to have a contract with your nanny, which is beneficial for both parties, I can provide a contract and assist with that process.
My services do not end once placement is made. I’m always here to answer questions or assist you! Don’t hesitate to reach out.

Your nanny’s rate depends greatly on your location, her experience, hours, and the job expectations. While I cannot give a flat rate that works for every nanny and family, I’m happy to work with you to determine the appropriate hourly rate for your nanny.
For a general idea, you can expect to pay your nanny between $20 to $40 per hour depending on job description, number of children, and the nanny’s experience.

Remember to give the relationship between your nanny and your children time to grow organically. Good things take time, and it can take some time for your children to establish a bond with their nanny.
However, it’s important to feel 100% confident in the nanny you choose. If, for a logical reason, you or your nanny feel the need to part ways, I am here to assist. Within 90 days of placement, if you are dissatisfied with the nanny you’ve hired I will gladly provide complementary replacement.
*please note that there are terms to this which are detailed in my contract

The nanny screening process starts with a comprehensive application. Basic requirements are over 18 years of age, professional childcare experience, etc. I am the only one that is processing the nanny applications, ensuring that they are thoroughly looked through and assessed. If a nanny meets all my criteria, I will move forward with an in-person (or virtual) interview. The last step of the screening process is a comprehensive background check through a secure service.
Background checks are available to families upon request.

If you’ve never heard of a nanny agency before, you’re not alone! Because we live in a relatively small area (Medford, Ashland, Yreka, Mount Shasta, Etna, etc.), we miss out on a lot of convenient things that bigger cities have to offer. To my knowledge, there is no other nanny agency or similar service in the area - which is exactly why I created Bloom Nanny Agency! Just because we live in a small town doesn’t mean we don’t deserve extraordinary childcare!
If you decide to use Bloom Nanny Agency to find your caregiver, you are taking the weight off your own back and allowing me to do the work for you! I am a professional nanny myself with years of childcare experience - so I know what to look for. Also, through my services you have access to nannies that have already been intensively interviewed and background checked!
Its simple - you fill out the family application and give me the qualities you care about most in a nanny, as well as the hours and type of care you need, and I will begin my search to match you with the nanny that will fit in with your family best!

No, nannies do not accept state pay. You can expect to pay your nanny privately.
